A lot of sisters have been asking me what Islam says about husbands (men) who don't romance their wives but straight to sex, like what my friend said that as for her she has No idea what romance is , because when the husband needs sex, she just lie down and then the husband just start Having sex with her and recently when I posted about breast sucking a lot of such questions came. To my brothers In Islam, the prophet said no one should go to the wife like animals but should send a message. Hope we know how animal mate (have sex)? The prophet said don't do that but send message which means ROMANCE, romance your wife before moving to the main sex, romancing her will help her enjoy sex and will also makes you enjoy but if you just jump to her like animal you will always hurt her cos without her wetting she will feel pains but maybe won't tell you about the pains so please brothers don't be like animal as the prophet said, don't go to her like how animal does.   Once a scholar set out to look for Islamic knowledge, but before he traveled, he asked his father who was also an Imam in their town to look for a wife for him before he gets back. The scholar went and years passed by. He finally made his mind to come back home. All his family were happy he has come back. With haste, he asked his father where his wife was. He was shown to his wife but he didn’t seem happy. He said to his father, “after my years out there in search for knowledge, look at the kind of wife u got for me”! So she sprinkled water on the scholar, he woke up and tried to shout at her but she read the hadith of the prophet Muhammad SAW saying, when a husband or wife wakes his half up for Tahajjud prayer, Allaah will grant them His Mercy.   Sultan Mahmoud had a servant whose name was Ayyaz and was well known for his good manners and wisdom. Once, Sultan Mahmoud was holding a precious jewel in his hand while sitting with his ministers. He told one of the ministers to break the jewel. Since the jewel was very expensive, the minister refused to break it. Then the Sultan told another minister to break it.   This story about “Istighfar” is from the life of Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal, who is considered as a renowned scholar of Islam and a famous theologian. Imam Ahmad is also considered to be the founder of the Hanbali School of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and is one of the most celebrated Sunni theologians, often referred to as the “Sheikh Ul-Islam” or the “Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah.” During his old age, while Imam Ahmad was travelling he stopped by a town. After performing Salaat Al Maghrib, she put her make-up, wore her beautiful white dress preparing herself for her wedding party. Then she heard the Adhan of ‘Ishaa and she realized that she broke her Wudu (ablution). She told her mother: “Mother, I have to go make Wudu and pray Ishaa”. Her mother was shocked: “Are you crazy?!! Some of his or her male relatives might be present as well. There is no doubt that this custom leads to great evil and enables men to watch fully adorned, charming women. This leads to terrible consequences, so it should be banned to avoid the means leading to Fitnah and protect the society of women from what contradicts the sanctified Shari'ah..."
